It’s hard to conceive of the thoughts of a lion when he stares straight through you on safari.

A mixture of mild curiosity and self assuredness would be my guess. Looking into the eyes of these magnificent creatures in their natural home is a privilege. This powerful male with his impressive mane was out for a stroll with his brother as the sun started to break through the morning fog in Botswana.
